The Culture et moi campaign was launched in November 2022 to provide a concrete response to workforce challenges in the cultural sector. Since then, 15 professions have already been highlighted in video clips that showcase exciting and often overlooked career opportunities. Building on the success of the initiative, Compétence Culture is repeating the experience, with financial support from the Quebec government, focusing on five professions of the future that are presented through digital content produced by URBANIA.
The partnership between SYNTHÈSE and Compétence Culture focuses specifically on two new professions at the crossroads of culture and digital creation: motion capture (mocap) supervisor with David Hurtubise and virtual reality director with Nicolas S. Roy, president and executive creative director at Dpt. To highlight these two professions, SYNTHÈSE participated in the creation of video clips featuring professionals, as well as the development of job descriptions and teaching materials for high school art teachers.
